Nick Hobbs performed both my and my partner's surgeries. He is a warm and passionate professional who put two nervous patients at ease before our surgeries and obviously loves what he does. My partner had their surgery first, six months before mine. Seeing Nick's work then, it was like I was seeing my partner how they had always been meant to be. As for me, I had always been expecting to simply be content with no longer having a feminine chest. I hoped I might feel, at best, comfortable looking in the mirror. I never expected to actually feel so happy about it. My partner and I have fairly differently shaped bodies and had different ideas about what we wanted or, rather, my partner had a clearer idea while I was more... wishy-washy. Nick obviously knows not only how to work with different frames but also with different levels of expectations and different specifications. We could not be happier with the work Nick has done, and even the surgeon who removed my dressings said that he had done an excellent job. Honestly, I cannot praise or recommend him enough.

Nick was very understanding and I felt safe in his care, he also gave very clear instructions/advice that made me feel much more comfortable about the procedure and resulting healing process.

I had Nick Hobbs for my post op appointment and dressing removal. He removed my dressings carefully, using some kind of solution to wet the area so it wouldn’t be as painful which I appreciated. He was extremely happy with my results (as am I) and explained what he was looking for as a surgeon and why (symmetrical scars, nipple placement, evidence of dog ears). It was comforting to hear directly from a surgeon that the healing is going how it should be. He gave me aftercare details for my scars and nipples, tape for my scars and a few dressings for my nipples and information on other aftercare techniques available. He was able to describe what I need to do in the long run and for how long. He confirmed me if any further complications did arise during my recovery that I could always contact them if required (I.e further swelling where I may require the post op binder again). He was very welcoming and friendly and I felt comfortable allowing him to remove my dressings.

Was super understanding when I explained about a negative experience I'd had that led to me needing to be talked through everything that was happening and was super respectful the entire time I spoke to him. He cleared up any questions or confusion I experienced during the follow-up appointment, honestly couldn't ask for any better :)
